If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been doing the #f45challenge so I thought I would share some of the things I have been eating – one being this Protein Berry Bomb Smoothie – my go-to smoothie in the mornings.
I enjoy smoothies because I can hide so much protein in my morning shake, including my favourite collagen.
Here’s the recipe for this shake that serves 2 people & contains around 18g protein per serving depending on what protein powder you use.

Protein Berry Bomb Smoothie
This smoothie has frozen mixed berries, collagen, vegan protein powder, peanut butter, almond milk, lemon juice and maple syrup.
Servings 2
Ingredients
- 2 scoops collagen @onutricia_collagen bovine protein so not vegan
- 2 scoops vegan protein powder
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 squeeze lemon
- 2 tsp maple
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 4 tbsp coconut cream topping
Instructions
- Blend together and serve with a dollop of coconut cream and berries.
