Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas drained
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Za'atar

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine all the above ingredients, but only 1 Tablespoon of the Za'taar, the rest is for sprinkling on top of the hummus.
  • Blend on high speed until creamy - usually takes a minute or so
  • Add to a bowl, top with more za'atar and a dash of olive oil.
