Collagen and Carob Oats

Here's a recipe for my Collagen and Carob Oats. Oats have a bad rep. Maybe its because they are a carb, that they are seen as the enemy? Or maybe its because you think of being forced fed lumpy porridge as a kid?

  • 1 cup of Rolled Oats Gluten-Free variety for me
  • 1 scoop collagen
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 150 ml Almond Milk
  • TBS Maple Syrup
  • 2 TBS Carob Powder
  • Fruits and Nuts to top


  • Bring water to a boil in a pot. Add the oats and pinch of salt, reduce heat to low and cover and let simmer for 12-15 minutes. (May vary depending on oats, check your packaging and follow those directions if unsure)
  • Once the oats are cooked, turn off the heat and stir in the collagen, almond milk, maple and carob powder. Mix until well combined and top with preferred fruit if desired.
