Want to win a luxury dress fitting experience at The Wedding Boutique in Sandton? Then read on…
So, if you don’t know yet, I am getting married this year in November and in true Cat style, I have pretty much organised most of the wedding and its only May 🤣
Thing is, although I might sound like Monica from Friends, with a clipboard and a flip-file of cut out images of my dream wedding, I am not like that at all.
I am pretty good at organising, but that’s about as far as it goes – I had no clue what my dream wedding would look like.
So, Shaun and I planned the wedding style, suppliers and look and feel together over January and by end February almost everything had been booked.
The only thing that I had kind of planned out in my head over the years was the wedding dress.
It would be fitted (not a fan of poofy dresses), would be lace (swoon) and definitely not conventional.
So, while my mom was here over Easter, I purchased THE Dress.
It was a real ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ moment, with all the girls oohing and aahing, and I knew without a doubt, the moment I put it on, that it was the dress for me.
A week later, I got contacted by The Wedding Boutique in Sandton, who asked if I would be interested in a luxury dress fitting experience at their Johannesburg branch.
While I may have found my dream dress, I still wanted to give my readers a chance to win an awesome ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ experience. So we chatted and decided I could give away the opportunity instead.
A bit more about The Wedding Boutique
The Wedding Boutique specialises in imported dresses and have a selection of over 80 wedding dress samples in store for you to try.
The store is managed by Alex Claxton, who has over 10 years of experience in the industry. Alex says her team is wholeheartedly committed to guiding future brides through this unfamiliar territory, by making this process as effortless as possible.
They have recently launched their Joburg studio, and are the only stocklist of a number of outstanding designers including Alena Leena, Enzoani and Made With Love.
The first step for Alex and her team of experts is defining your signature style.
Are you a boho bride? A modern bride? Or are you more contemporary? Or perhaps, a more classic and traditional bride?
For me, I think my dress style could be defined as boho-vintage classic, but you will have to wait to see the pictures later this year. 😉
Whatever your style, The Wedding Boutique will assist in making your dream come true and helping you find your perfect wedding dresses in Johannesburg!
