Win a LUXURY dress fitting at The Wedding Boutique

Want to win a luxury dress fitting experience at The Wedding Boutique in Sandton? Then read on…

So, if you don’t know yet, I am getting married this year in November and in true Cat style, I have pretty much organised most of the wedding and its only May 🤣

Thing is, although I might sound like Monica from Friends, with a clipboard and a flip-file of cut out images of my dream wedding, I am not like that at all.

I am pretty good at organising, but that’s about as far as it goes – I had no clue what my dream wedding would look like.

So, Shaun and I planned the wedding style, suppliers and look and feel together over January and by end February almost everything had been booked.

The Dress

The only thing that I had kind of planned out in my head over the years was the wedding dress.

It would be fitted (not a fan of poofy dresses), would be lace (swoon) and definitely not conventional.

So, while my mom was here over Easter, I purchased THE Dress.

It was a real ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ moment, with all the girls oohing and aahing, and I knew without a doubt, the moment I put it on, that it was the dress for me.

A week later, I got contacted by The Wedding Boutique in Sandton, who asked if I would be interested in a luxury dress fitting experience at their Johannesburg branch.

While I may have found my dream dress, I still wanted to give my readers a chance to win an awesome ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ experience. So we chatted and decided I could give away the opportunity instead.

The first step for Alex and her team of experts is defining your signature style.

Are you a boho bride? A modern bride? Or are you more contemporary? Or perhaps, a more classic and traditional bride?

The Wedding Boutique in Sandton

For me, I think my dress style could be defined as boho-vintage classic, but you will have to wait to see the pictures later this year. 😉

Whatever your style, The Wedding Boutique will assist in making your dream come true and helping you find your perfect wedding dresses in Johannesburg!

Hey Cat, my fiancé and I are planning our wedding for the first Sunday in May next year (which os funny because it sounds like the first Monday in May, and that’s as close to the Met Gala as I’m ever gonna get 😂). We’ve only just started planning, and it’s quite a process! I’d actually love to read a bit more about your wedding planning process, because boy is it a mission.

      Hey Cat 🙂
So my fiance finally popped the question last April after being together for 8 years! We are high school sweethearts and still madly in love! As much as I would love to get married as soon as possible, I am waiting to finish my degree at the end of next year and then we are planning the wedding for February 2021. Would love to read more about your wedding planning process as I have no idea where to start!

Hey Cat, my fiancé and I are planning our wedding for the first Sunday in May (which is funny because it’s kind of like the first Monday in May, and that’s as close as I’m ever gonna get to the Met Gala 😂). It’s actually been quite a mission to find the perfect venue, so I’m hoping to at least get the dress sorted 👍

This is a fab giveaway. I’m getting married in April next year and haven’t planned a thing yet. I would love a professional dress fitting experience to feel like a real princess before I marry the man of my dreams

I am getting married 29th November. Unlike your blissful experience so far I am not even close to planning my dream wedding. I would love this opportunity to say yes to my dream dress!

I hope I’ll get married by next year. My boyfriend hasn’t said anything related to marriage though but I walk by faith, not by sight. I am a believer and I’m praying about it. Can’t wait for my big day

My fiancé and I are getting married in October next year. I know it’s quite far away… but the time goes by so fast that Im trying to tick one thing of the list at a time. I would love this experience as I’m all very new to the bridal world and have fallen in love with some of this stores dresses. Cant wait to keep planning!

Cat wow ! You are one organised chickita ! My wedding is on the 10th August (2019). I’ve gone to the local bride shop 😉 and took with me my sister in law and my nephew (3 years old) you can just imagine the situation! Having said that he was well behaved and amazing ! We also had to skype my mum and Sister – as they’re based in Cape Town / so you can really imagine the multi tasking that needed to be done ! Anyways after several dresses were tried on, there was a potential one – but not “thee one”. Our budget is fairly tight so this experience could definitely go along way and it does sound like an experience my sister in law and I deserve…

Anyways great of you to offer this to someone else and good luck with the choosing of the winner !
